Let’s Just start this out by saying, my dogs are very spoiled and I am very okay with it. I am sure they are, too. I recently found some dog bone cookie cutters which inspired me to make some treats for my little babes, Jax and Diego!
Ahhhh, the first weekend of October – perfect for decorating the house for Halloween… Unless you’re like me and started mid September (sorry, not sorry!) Sadly I had very little halloween decor so today I headed out to search for some more to add to my collection.
This morning was beautiful! Sun was out, but for the first time in a while there was a nice cool breeze and none of that disgusting sticky humidity. Perfect morning to me. On today’s agenda was Kirkland’s, Michael and Target of course 🙂
Sundays are for baking cookies! Right? Well, mine was.
I had a random urge to bake sugar cookies and test my creativeness after finding these cute cookie cutters at HomeGoods. So I didn’t opt for the sugar cookies from scratch, i opted for the sugar cookies that required minimum effort – just one egg, 1/2 cup of butter and the cookie mix. I mixed it up and prepared my counters to roll out the dough.
Lately one of my favorite things to do (for gifts) is put together baskets as a gift instead of wrapping individual gifts. This weekend I got to put together a little something for a baby shower. Mommy to be asked that everyone brought wipes and diapers, so I did just that and a little more.
Over the span of a few days I hit a few stores and SCORED the basket for $1.99 and cute bath set at Ross, the lips binky at HomeGoods and wipes, diapers and lotion at Walmart.
Out with the old and in with the new! I somehow found the courage to cut my hair and start a blog all in the same week, and so far, i am loving both!
I’ve tried the whole short hair thing once or twice and always left crying. This time was different.. much, much different. It seriously helps to have an AMAZING hair stylist. My hair was down to my waist! I just got tired of all the maintenance with long hair.. the dry time.. the style time.. ugh! So when I went I sat in the chair and let my hairstylist work magic. I told her a little passed my collar bones and keep the style the same and wallah!
Here is a little project I did for some cute Halloween decor.
What you need:
As you can see, line the bottom with an inch of candy corn.
Next, line the side of the vase with your marshmallow peeps. Of course you can use a different type but I favored the ghosts here. I used just enough to go around the vase 1 time. which came out to about 3 rows. Then I used some sunflowers from the Dollar store, cut them to size and placed in the middle.
This project was a lot of fun. I had a desire out of no where (like most things) to build this shelf completely out of pallets. I had been wanting to put a TV in my workout room but did not want to spend $100 for a shelf to do so!
