Ahhh 31 days of no spending – I made it!
Incase you missed it I took on a challenge of a No Spend Month for the month of March.
This has been a very rewarding experience (for my bank account!) As I mentioned in my weekly posts, yes, I messed up a few times. By “mess up” I mean, I bought COFFEE! A lot of coffee. I allotted myself 2 coffee splurges and used them the first week into it..
This has been a very rewarding experience (for my bank account!)
However, I was able to save 600 our of my goal of 800! Thats pretty good! And far more than my normal 100-200 monthly.
I was able to achieve this by:
- Canceling all my box subscriptions ( $200 savings)
- Unsubscribed from tempting emails
- Meal prepping and planning (HUGE!!)
- Self Control – which is weird.. I have zero self control when it comes to sweets but tons of self control when it comes to saving!
Overall this was a great experience – but wow am I happy to be shopping again!
Lets hope I don’t undo all my savings..
