Different Way to Enjoy Epcot Food and Wine Festival

As if life couldn’t get anymore sweeter, Epcot puts on a Food and Wine Festival! Living in Florida, I visit Disney as much as possible. But, when Epcot have their festivals, I make sure to pay an extra special visit.

Epcot as you may know is the home of the World Showcase. Where you get to walk around the park and experience a ton of different countries and their culture. From the food, the fashion and even the toys from that country. When they put on the Food and Wine festival, it’s 10 times more fun!

You will walk around from country to country, grab a “passport” and make it all day eating and drinking fest.

Now, most of us think of the Disney parks as a place you go when you’re little of when you have littles ones. However, i’m here to tell you that you can make a fun trip out of Epcot without that.

New way to enjoy Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival:

Where to stay:

There are so many beautiful places to stay in Orlando, but when we’re talking about Epcot, you’ll want to stay at one of the resorts connected to it. We chose to stay at the Dolphin Resort where we have access to Epcot through a bridge.

Other places to stay:

Disney’s Boardwalk Hotel
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Where to Eat:

When you stay at one of the Disney resorts you have access to Disney’s Boardwalk. It is a little boardwalk filled with restaurants and shops. One morning before the fest we stopped to try breakfast at Trattoria al Forna, a little Italian place. Of course we had Mickey waffles and Italian coffee. Delicious!

What to do:

Ok this is where the fun starts! Before we went to Epcot we began looking at the website for something new that we had never done before. I have this obsession with craft beer and cocktails. Therefore, when I stumbled on the Mix It, Make it, Drink it session I didn’t even think twice about booking it!

If you’re a frequent Disney goer I highly recommend trying something new like this! We were taught how to make grenadine, simple syrup and the Scofflaw Cocktail.

They even served us Byson. What else can you expect from Disney?

Every inch of this place is decorated. Every inch of this place teaches you something new. Even if it just what the color of your wine means! I really wish I could have captured how amazing this place was.

What to wear:

This simple and easy. I am a plain kind of girl. I wanted to look cute, but still be comfortable enough to walk around all day!

Hi Tiffany, great post on Epcot! I went there last year & wish I had more than a day to spend at Epcot. I ate myself around the world and it was an amazing experience!
