I’m so sad that summer is coming to an end. So sad that I had to get the last of summer out of my system with a fresh guavarita!
I live in Florida where Guava grows wildly (literally). I was lucky enough to be given a bag of guavas from one of my boyfriends clients. At first, I seriously had no idea what I was going to do with them. I had never even had a Guava! But, after leaving them out for about a week, my house smelled so strong of guavas. I knew I needed to figure out what to do with them or get rid of them. So, naturally I came up with making them into a Guavarita ! Duh! Well, primarily because I wanted to use the ingredients I already had in my home, like Tequila!
Those colors alone are to die for! In this recipe I chose to use Clase Azul Reposado Tequila. It is a bottle we bought when we did a tequila tasting in Mexico! If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories – you know what we had to go through just to get this bottle back home with us. Mexico doesn’t play games!
